The DMCC Free Zone Licenses are usually awarded for core commodity trading activities i.e. raw materials: Such as Gold and Precious Metals, Diamonds, Pearls, Plastics, Energy, Oil, Steel and Base Metals, Chemicals, Food, textile and raw material. Furthermore, DMCC free zone business setup can also be based on industrial and commercial license.

- Type of Office Facilities
Maintaining a license in DMCC requires you to rent an office. Visa eligibility of the company is related to the facility’s size. 1 visa / 9 sq. m. Here are the available options:

Establishment Card is a necessary document to enable the company register in Residency Department. On the other hand, Operation Fitness Certificate is necessary if company have chosen physical office as their facility.

- Residence Visa in DMCC (valid for 3 years)
The Visa cost depends upon the status of an applicant’s current location. Amendment of visa can be done only if the applicant has cancelled his previous Residence Visa or is transferring within DMCC.
For instance, If you are inside the UAE at the time of the Employment visa application, with Local amendment you can easily stay in the country and enjoy the hassle-free process by bypassing the procedures to change the Visa status.
Bank Guarantee Deposit is refundable after company deregistration.

Additional service fee with an amount of AED 10,000 is applicable in obtaining special activities, Corporate Shareholder or Branch Company. Packages excludes administration assistance on tenancy agreement documents related to Physical Office. For Obtaining Governmental NOC for specific activities, additional fee will apply. All packages respond to max 2 shareholders. Additional service fees of 1,500 AED per each additional shareholder will apply. Standard fee of POA 1,500 AED (for one applicant). Additional fee of 1,000 AED will apply for every additional signatory.
